  • Welcome to Daniel's the silk-screen printing workshop, where you'll dive into the fascinating world of this traditional craft and unleash your creativity. An experienced artist, Daniel will guide you through the entire process, from start to finish.

During this workshop, Daniel will introduce you to the space and the equipment, explaining what silk screen is and how to use it with a stencil. He'll demonstrate the technique using stencil paper and show you how to cut intricate patterns using a craft knife. Remember, sometimes simplicity is key when it comes to your designs.

Daniel will be there every step of the way, providing assistance and guidance as you create your own stencil. Once you've completed the cutting process, it's time to choose your colours and get ready for the printing phase. Whether you're working on a tote bag or a piece of paper, you'll place the stencil on top, position the screen, add the ink, and use the squeegee to spread it evenly across the surface.

Excitement fills the air as you lift the screen and reveal your masterpiece! But the creativity doesn't stop there. Daniel has prepared additional pre-cut stencils for you to experiment with, allowing you to add even more patterns and colours to your tote bag or paper.

Once your creation is complete, it's time for the finishing touches. Using an air dryer, you'll dry your artwork, and then fix it in place with an iron, ensuring that it lasts for years to come.

Enjoy a selection of water, tea and freshly brewed coffee to keep your creative energy flowing during the workshop.

This workshop is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the art of silk-screen printing, led by the talented Daniel. You'll leave with a tangible piece of your own creation—a beautifully silk-screen printed poster or tote bag that showcases your unique style and artistic flair.
