    Meet Helen Lucas Ceramics

    Ceramicist

Helen Lucas is a Brighton based ceramicist with over 20 years of experience working with clay and glaze. Her work has been exhibited nationally and she was recently featured on the Great Pottery Throw-down.

Helen graduated with a degree in craft design but is largely self taught in ceramics and glaze and her work is best known for it’s complex melting glazes and quietly provocative designs. She brings her unconventional and warm approach to teaching workshops so no one comes out of her workshop with the same piece and all the confidence to have a another go.

Helen particularly enjoys encouraging participants to be creative and to make something they can be proud of.
