The workshop in detail
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of ceramics alongside Patricia!
This passionate creator is thrilled to welcome you into her beautiful studio. You'll start by getting to know Patricia and the other participants, followed by an introduction to the workshop space. Patricia will then guide you through the theoretical foundations of her craft, so no worries if you've never worked with clay before – she'll start from the beginning!
Next comes the hands-on part of the workshop. You'll learn how to work with clay, making it pliable while eliminating any air bubbles. Using specific moulds, you'll shape three bowls, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and functionality.
Patricia will be there every step of the way, offering guidance and assistance whenever needed.
Once your pieces are complete, you'll hand them over to Patricia for drying, firing, and glazing. You'll also coordinate with her on the details of collection (around one and a half months after the workshop).
As you leave, you'll feel a sense of fulfilment from this creative session and take pride in having crafted beautiful objects that you'll be excited to use in your daily life!

Practical information
Complimentary water, tea and coffee will be provided during the workshop to keep you refreshed and hydrated.
To participate in this workshop, please plan to wear comfortable clothing suitable for the practice and cleaning at the end of the session. It is also advisable to have short nails and tied-up hair. If possible, consider bringing your own apron.
Please note that there is a risk of breakage during the firing process. These are inherent uncertainties of the craft, and the artisan cannot be held responsible.

Intrigued by this ancient craftsmanship, she embarked on a journey of exploration, immersing herself in various courses and workshops alongside seasoned professionals. Through these experiences, she not only honed her skills but also cultivated a unique style inspired by nature and the world around her.
Patricia's creativity extended to mastering the art of creating her own glazes, giving her creations a distinctive and captivating allure. With a keen eye for detail, she expertly blends colours and textures, infusing each piece with movement and depth.
Today, Patricia operates from her charming studio in Antwerp, where she continues to craft exquisite ceramics by hand. Her artistic prowess has also earned her recognition on the international stage, with regular participation in prestigious exhibitions. Fuelled by her passion and a desire to share the joy of ceramics, she takes delight in hosting workshops that nurture creativity and foster a gentle, welcoming atmosphere.

Een heel fijne ervaring en voor herhaling vatbaar!! Het stijlvolle atelier straalt meteen rust uit als je binnenwandelt en de begeleiding van Patricia was top 👌 Ik kijk sowieso al uit naar een volgende workshop!! Bea Á.

Heel leuke workshop, goeie uitleg en begeleiding en een heel aangename sfeer. Het tempo is perfect zodat ook wie totaal geen ervaring heeft met klei of keramiek meekan. De 3,5 uur zijn echt omgevlogen. Aanrader !
