WORKSHOP DESIGNED FOR A TEAM: Participate in this workshop with your colleagues and create unique memories together.
Join us for an engaging experience where you will make your own scented candles with Madeleine! In this collaborative workshop, you will explore the use of organic and plant-based ingredients and discover their health benefits.
Madeleine will provide essential tools, like a wax melting machine, and guide your group through the process of crafting your scented candles. You will combine different fragrances to create a unique aroma while experiencing the melting and mixing of the wax together.
Select your favourite glass and wick, and pour the melted wax under expert supervision to create a stylish candle. As your creation dries and hardens, you will receive tips on trimming the wick and achieving the perfect scent balance.
You'll then have the chance to personalise your candle, after which you take it home in a specially designed box. If there is any leftover wax, you can make some tea lights! Additionally, you will receive a certificate to commemorate this creative experience.
In Madeleine's workshop, your group will learn the techniques of candle making while bonding and fostering collaboration. It's an excellent opportunity to nurture company culture and reward your team for their creativity.

Workshop location
You can park for free at the workshop location. The workshop is also easily accessible by bus 129, 160 or 162 from Alkmaar Station. Get off at the Nieuwe Schermerweg stop.

Practical information
For groups of more than 20 people, the team will be divided into smaller groups, which may extend the duration of the workshop. You can discuss this with Madeleine after requesting the quote.
Additional cost when Madeleine comes to your place:
- Within De Randstad, a relocation fee of €125 excl VAT will be charged.
- Outside of De Randstad, a relocation fee of €150 excl VAT will be charged.
Furniture requirements:
- 1 table and 1 chair per participant
- Tables and chairs for the host (and possibly an assistant)
Power requirements:
- 1 power outlet per participant (10 participants = 10 sockets, or sufficient extension cords)
Location manager to ensure sufficient power capacity for wax melters with the following specifications:
- Power supply: 220v ~ 240v
- Power: 40W
Additional requirements:
- Access to water nearby is convenient for cleaning (but not mandatory)
- A parking spot for the entire day, or at least a place to unload materials

With unwavering determination, Madeleine built her brand, personally handling sales and establishing partnerships with prominent businesses. Candle Salon workshops have been a cornerstone of her success for three years, initially situated near Amsterdam's central station and now thriving in Alkmaar, housed within an old print shop alongside other passionate entrepreneurs.
At Candle Salon, sustainability is paramount. The candles are crafted using the eco-friendly vegetable wax derived from the vibrant Brassica napus flower. This wax is sourced sustainably in Europe, ensuring it is free from GMOs, cruelty-free, and harmless to both humans and wildlife. Free from additives, petroleum, preservatives, and phthalates, Candle Salon candles offer a pure and exquisite olfactory experience.
