Join Fabrizia for a Kokedama workshop!
The session will begin with a brief introduction to Fabrizia's passion project, which focuses on plants and connecting people through nature.
Fabrizia will then explain the concept of Kokedama, its origins and meaning, before guiding you through the materials and process you'll follow during the workshop.
You'll go through all the steps of forming the base of your kokedama - the mud ball - to securing the plant with different types of moss and fishing line.
Fabrizia will also demonstrate different ways to display your kokedama, including how to hang it for a striking visual effect. She'll also give tips on how to care for your kokedama to keep it healthy and vibrant long after the workshop.
At the end of the session, you'll take home your handmade kokedama and have the opportunity to purchase additional items to help you care for your new creation.
This workshop is the perfect combination of creativity, relaxation and nature in the truly beautiful setting of Hotel Jakarta with its indoor garden!
Lieu de l'atelier
This workshop takes place in Hotel Jakarta. Parking outside the hotel is free on Sundays. Paid parking on the nearby streets or in the parking of the hotel on other days. You can also take bus 43 towards Borneo Eiland from Amsterdam Centraal. Get off at stop Tosaristraat.
