Kintsugi Artist

Amsterdam

Meet Yuki, an artisan with a rich background that informs her craft in unique ways. Originally from Saitama, Japan, Yuki spent ten years interning as a lighting designer in Tokyo before moving to Australia. There she spent seven years working in anatomical pathology.

In 2019, Yuki moved to the Netherlands with her family, where she developed a strong interest in European architecture and culture. This newfound appreciation for cultural heritage, combined with her Japanese roots, led her to specialise in traditional techniques such as Kintsugi and Maki-e.

Today, Yuki offers workshops in cities such as Amsterdam, Delft, Groningen, Rotterdam, Utrecht and France. She also offers team-building activities for universities, companies and Japan-related events. Join Yuki on a journey of artistic exploration and cultural discovery!
