WORKSHOP DESIGNED FOR GROUPS: Join this workshop with your colleagues, friends, or family.
Join Nastia Ceramist for a 4-hour workshop where you can unleash your creativity and learn the basics of clay sculpting and glazing.
In the first half, you'll learn the basics of clay sculpting using fun hand-building techniques like coils and slabs.
Create whatever you want - a funky flower pot, a quirky sculpture, or even a cool mug for your morning coffee. Nastia will be there every step of the way, sharing her expert tips to help you bring your creations to life.
After the sculpting, it's time to unleash your inner glazing guru! You'll learn the art of using special clay-based paint on your creations, finishing them off with shiny or matte glazes. Nastia will be your guide, showing you how to make your work pop.
But the experience doesn't end there. After the workshop, your creations will be fired in the oven twice and then glazed to solidify their shape. You'll then be able to come back to collect them.
The creations are ready for collection after three weeks. You have three weeks from then to collect them; after that, unfortunately, this is no longer possible due to the space the creations take up in the workshop. All materials and firings are included, so you can simply come and let your creativity run wild.

But Nastia isn't just an exceptional artist - she's also a gifted communicator who loves to share her knowledge with others. That's why she offers "Introduction to Ceramics" workshops at her studio, Calaca Ceramic Art. These workshops provide a hands-on opportunity to learn hand-building techniques, including coil and slab methods. Participants will also experiment with "engobes," a clay-based paint, using the sgraffito and slip-trailing techniques to decorate their creations. Through Nastia's workshops, aspiring ceramists can learn from an experienced professional and create something truly beautiful and unique. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned artist, Nastia's guidance and expertise will take your ceramics to the next level.
