Discover the world of welding with Philip

The workshop begins with an introduction to Philip and the workshop set-up. Philip, an experienced metalworker, will share his journey and passion for welding over this informative and enjoyable day.

If you have your own welder, feel free to bring it along. Philip will be happy to accommodate it and incorporate it into your learning experience.

You will then be introduced to the three main welding techniques: MIG, TIG and MMA stick welding. For those interested, there is also the opportunity to learn about aluminium welding on request. Philip will tailor the day's activities to the specific welding processes you wish to focus on, ensuring you get the most out of your experience.

After a morning of learning and practicing, you will take a break for lunch. 

The afternoon session will focus on the welding technique of your choice. Philip will provide detailed instruction and practical exercises to help you master the skills required for various welding applications.

You'll also learn how to use welding for repairs, a valuable skill for both personal and professional projects. Philip's expert guidance will ensure that you understand the nuances of repairing different types of metalwork.

At the end of the workshop you will take home your completed welds, including joints, test welds and a square frame.
