Make your own silver earrings

In a 3.5-hour workshop led by Sara, participants are invited to explore the intricate art of jewellery making, focusing on hard wax carving and sand-casting techniques. This session is suitable for everyone, regardless of their prior experience in jewellery crafting and offers a comprehensive introduction to creating bespoke earrings.

The workshop begins with an instructional segment on hard wax carving. Participants will be introduced to various tools and techniques essential for shaping and detailing their wax models. This step is crucial as it lays the foundation for their custom earring design.

Following the carving process, attendees will employ the sand-casting technique to cast their designs in silver. This traditional method of casting allows for the creation of detailed and unique jewellery pieces, offering a hands-on experience in transforming a wax model into a metal form.
