Model your ceramic box

During this 3-hour workshop, you will discover the different modelling techniques with ceramists who are as competent as they are motivated to help you discover their daily life.

Whether you want to put spices, jewellery or souvenirs in it, you will make a beautiful ceramic box. 

Johanna will guide you through the steps, using 3 traditional ceramic techniques, to create a box that suits you. 

Once your piece is finished, the ceramists will fire it. Ceramics require two firings, so you will have to wait about a month before getting your beautiful box back. 

This workshop is offered in several languages simultaneously. The craftsman will adapt the language of the workshop according to the participants present

Elise and Manon, both graduates of a Master's degree in ceramics from ENSAV La Cambre, joined forces with a common desire to create a place for sharing and training in ceramics. They wanted to provide a shared work space, fully equipped and adaptable over time to accommodate different audiences around creative projects with a social and civic purpose.

They welcome professional ceramists who practice and teach at the Atelier des Tropiques. The team of instructors is made up of young ceramists, all of whom specialise in a particular field of expertise and are keen to share their knowledge and know-how in a friendly and caring atmosphere.

The workshop is a bright space where the view of the trees through the bay window can only inspire the participants who walk through the doors of this welcoming place.
