    Textile Creators

Today, Orybany is the first eco-responsible zero waste gift shop in Brussels. It is a project driven by the community of artisans/creators that make up the Orybany family. From the shop, to the workshop, to the organisation of private sales and craftsmen's markets, the Ateliers Orybany promotes a local economic model with a sustainable and social dimension.

Juliette is the founder of Ateliers Orybany and the creator of the KinJu Brussels accessories brand. It is a unifying concept of the Brussels creative scene launched in 2013 by Juliette Berguet and Liliane Malemo.

When they launched their workshop/shop, they quickly realised that they were not the only ones with these desires: to share, exchange and create something in common with sustainable and ethical values. From 2, they grew to 10 creators and craftsmen and today Orybany welcomes about forty craftsmen and creators.

Their aim is to support the community of artisans and creators who dare to launch and test their projects.

For the past 9 years, the Orybany boutique-workshop has been offering an original selection of clothing, jewellery, fashion accessories, zero-waste items and decoration as well as creative and holistic workshops.

Faced with breast cancer, Juliette has managed to turn the ordeal of the disease into a wonderful source of inspiration. She launched two projects in the wake of her remission: Baob Brussels, an association that aims to accompany and support people affected by the disease, and KinJu Brussels, a brand of accessories that aims to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention.

For the workshops, the team includes Stéphanie, Leila, Edith and Juliette, each with their own speciality!
