She will teach you how to take care of yourself simply and economically. Thanks to this workshop, you will no longer be a victim of shampoo that opens in the suitcase or shower gel that spills in the bathtub! The solution: solid cosmetics.
Maya will introduce you to the role, virtues and properties of the ingredients that will be used in your products.
You will create 3 products in all:
- a solid shampoo: for all hair types, for sensitive skin, foamy and economical
- a face mask: with clay to purify and moisturise your skin
- a massage balm: with nourishing oils, to moisturise your skin or put in the bath
You will deliberately work with few ingredients, 100% natural and vegan, so that you are more likely to repeat the recipe!
After the workshop you will get a guide with information. There is no need to write anything down. In that way you can enjoy the workshop with peace of mind!
Don't forget to bring a lunch box or plastic container to put your shampoo bar and massage praline in.
The workshop will be given in Dutch, but on request you can have it in another available language.

Cosmetics Makers
De Groene Stadshut was founded by Maya and Pablo, a creative, enthusiastic and complementary couple who were very eager for sustainable change!
A few years ago they began their quest for a balanced, sustainable and conscious lifestyle. Over the years it has completely become their passion! It is therefore their mission to inspire others to go through life creatively, healthily and consciously. Not only for the planet, but also for themselves, this lifestyle has great positive benefits. Conscious and sustainable living brings structure to daily life and is better for our bodies, minds and overall well-being.
De Groene Stadshut started as a multipurpose, inspiring hut with a workshop space and zero waste store. This was joined by the artisanal cosmetics workshop Savonke. Meanwhile, the store was shut down and Savonke was taken over.
Today you can visit the cozy Stadshut for all kinds of eco-minded DIY workshops, coaching on self-care and energetic massages.
Maya collaborates with Mieke or Inez who also run workshops.
The workshops will be given in Dutch, but on request you can have them in another available language.
