Through a short tour of the workshop, breathtaking stories, fun exercises, your child will learn all about timekeeping and clock reading .

Jan is passionate and will take time to share his know-how with your child.

Between quality and traditional techniques, Jan will give your child all the secrets of his trade. Go for it and live an incredible experience with him, you won't regret it!

This experience should be with a minimum of one chaperone for children.

This can be a very fun and educational outing for schools as a supplement to the class. You can also join Jan by appointment by requesting a private workshop. You can also visit Jan's atelier by requesting a private workshop.

Meet Jan

Clockmaker

With more than 30 years of experience, Jan is a talented and passionate clockmaker.

He received his training in a 4-year program with a specialization in clockmaking at the jeweller's trade school of Schoonhoven.

Moreover, he has worked for Swiss companies where he excelled!

Now based near Antwerp, he helps his customers in his own workshop but also does antique clock restorations, sales, and appraisals. Whether it's appearance, sound or technique, he knows what to do to repair any clock! Every clock is a challenge!

Nowadays, a clock is also a work of art that you display in your living room. He is always proud to share his passion with others.

De passie van Jan is meer dan merkbaar doorheen zijn uitleg, waardoor je geboeid kan blijven luisteren. Tiener van 11jaar (meegesleurd door nieuwsgierige ouders) die de rest van de dag over niets anders kon praten. Lijkt mij dan toch geslaagd, niet? :) #tryingnewthings
