Make your own large stained glass creation

In this two-day workshop, you will have the opportunity to explore the wonderful world of stained glass and create your own stained glass creation. The second workshop will take place one week later on the same weekday and at the same hour. 

Under the expert guidance of Thomas from Planttrekker, you will learn the fundamentals of glass cutting, grinding, soldering, and patination. 

This is a great opportunity to explore the world of stained glass in a fun and creative way.

With a variety of  types (approximately 30cm in height) and glass patterns to choose from, you will be able to customise your creation to suit your personal style and decor. Thomas will be there to support you every step of the way, ensuring that you create a unique piece of art that you'll be proud to display in your home.  It may be a stunning botanical leaf but of course any creation is possible out of Thomas' creations.

No previous experience is necessary, and all necessary safety measures will be in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable workshop. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a beginner, this workshop is a fantastic opportunity to discover your creative side and make something truly beautiful.

Step into the world of Thomas and discover the magic of plants and stained glass!

Born and raised in the Flemish countryside, Thomas has traveled the world to explore lush greenery in places like the Amazon rainforest and the Galapagos Islands. Now based in Antwerp, he has created his own urban jungle, complete with over 400 green roommates.

As a graphic designer and social worker, Thomas missed the greenery and began his own plant business on the side. In January 2022, he moved a large part of his plants to a greenhouse in Boechout, just outside Antwerp, where he now hosts all of his workshops.

But plants aren't the only passion Thomas has cultivated. He has also developed a love for stained glass and started incorporating his unique green touch into his creations.
